5 Reasons It’s A Good Thing You Aren’t Rich And Famous

# Tips

When it comes to the lifestyles of the rich and the famous, they’re always complaining. Always complaining. Okay, now I’m just quoting that Good Charlotte song. But for real. They are always complaining. Oh, life must be so hard for you what with the millions of dollars you make and the fact that your body is perfect and you’re dating Bradley Cooper. But then I thought about it and I realized that celebrities actually do have it pretty bad. Here’s why it’s a really good thing you aren’t rich and famous.

1. Money doesn’t buy you happiness

Honestly, it can buy you a lot. Like that new car. Those new pair of shoes. That Chanel purse. Whatever you want can be yours. But does that really make you happy? Well, yeah, probably for a hot minute. But materials get old. Chanel purses go out of style. Cars break down. The only sure things in life are the relationships you have with your friends and family and your own happiness.

2. Celebrities are lonely

Why do you think they are always taking selfies on their instagrams and twitter accounts? They are lonely. Yeah, you probably take the occasional selfie and yeah you don’t get as many ‘likes’ as celebrities do on their pictures, but at least you have legit friends to take pictures with. How many celebrities can say the same? Sure John Mayer took a picture with Leo DiCaprio. But are they really friends? Probably not.

3. They’re not very bright

I mean how many celebrities have made it big when they were 16 and just decided to not finish high school? Why is this a thing? They are making so much money that they could literally pay a private tutor to educate them on all things high school and get it done in record time. But they don’t because they are lazy. Be thankful you have a good education. Be thankful you know the difference between ‘you’re’ and ‘your.’ Just because someone has a blue check mark next to their twitter account name doesn’t mean they are the brightest crayon in the box. So at least you have your intellect going for you.

4. They have no regard for others

Is it just a universal thing to become super self-involved when you start to make millions? Because that’s what seems to happen to celebrities of all shapes and sizes. Sure, they donate money to charities and yeah they do this and that for homeless people or animals. But they can’t do a good deed without bragging about it. Ugh. Celebrities.

5. You could never go to Target to buy a pack of condoms without the entire world knowing

Last but not least, you would have no privacy if you were a celebrity. None. None at all. Every move is watched by thousands of peeping eyes all over the nation. If the condom thing doesn’t freak you out, consider going to buy something equally embarrassing. Even if it’s a gag gift for a bachelorette party. Do you think the paparazzi will view it that way? Not a chance.
