Jason Halek‘s life vision revolved around the organization of a philanthropic charity capable of assisting people in need. With his oil business resources, he created a non-profit organization called Halek Charities, which is involved in over thirty different causes. Beginning in Texas, where he has lived the past fourteen years, Jason Halek began to accumulate a myriad of local and global causes to support.
Perhaps most touching of Jason Halek’s contributions is his consistent support of children in need. Families experience great turmoil when their child needs help to recover from an illness or injury but they can not financially afford it. Halek Charities provides such needed funds and services to children and individuals. Hospitals associated with Halek Charities are the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, Cook Children’s Hospital, and Scott & White Children’s Hospital. Halek Charities is also involved with Foster’s Home for Children, Operation Christmas Child, and Wish With Wings.
Although he is proud to be able to assist several children’s hospitals, Jason Halek was especially drawn to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital because it provides outstanding care, free of charge if needed, for the youngest citizens of the state Texas. “I was amazed at the quality of treatment the hospital was able to provide these kids without regard for the family’s ability to pay,” said Halek.
Without question, Jason Halek has made a significant impact in the lives of his fellow man. The noble dedication of his resources to Halek Charities and its associated benefits has reached out and created a better world.
